Everything looks the same year-round. Is it January? Is it July? If it weren’t for the heat, you’d never know. I’ve never lived somewhere that real seasons and I see how beautiful it is, but I’d rather wear shorts all year. I still like Christmas time to be a little cooler, but then quickly go back to warmer temperatures. I’m not particularly fond of sunny weather all the time. I need seasons. If anything, I prefer constant overcast skies with a high chance of rain ideal would be the top photo for October and November, snow for a week or two before Christmas, and then 80s the rest of the year. Unfortunately with COVID, I wasn’t willing to take my regular (almost about to be regular) trip to Chicago and backup home, both of which are Great Lakes cities. I absolutely hate winter and snow but I can’t stand heat and humidity either.
P.S. I don’t drive some taking up space here does not add to traffic. I grew up in the Midwest and lived in Florida for a few years. One year in FL I carved a pumpkin for Halloween and left it on my stoop. I don’t think it lasted five days before completely rotting. I just posted in another sub about pumpkin patches in Florida. The one I go to with my nephews every year serves frozen apple cider Imagine going apple picking or something in New England, you go to the little stand and they’re serving frozen apple cider live for those cold snaps, though. I have an entire wardrobe that goes largely unworn, that I have specifically for those cold snaps.
